Jurassic Garden at Powell Gardens - Desert Days

Kansas City International Dragon Boat Festival
📅 WHEN: June 21st 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
📍 WHERE: East end of Brush Creek at the Country Club Plaza
💫 ABOUT: Brush Creek on the Country Club Plaza will be packed with people and dragons for the annual Kansas City Dragon Boat Festival. The boats enter the water for practice at 8 a.m. and festivities begin at 9:45 am. as drum rollers and dragons march along the banks of Brush Creek to kick-off a day of racing.

The festival is hosted by Kansas City-Xi’an Sister City Committee and the Society for Friendship with China in partnership with Kansas City Parks and Recreation.

Summer Movies in the Park at Zona Rosa

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory -Theater in the Park at Shawnee Mission Park
